What you will learn
When I began putting this course together, I knew I had to reach out to my friend Deborah Arroyo, CCC-SLP to collaborate. Together we had been closely monitoring the new laws and eagerly awaiting this much-needed change to our profession that would allow more children to be seen! In this course, we have created a special learning journey for everyone who wants to learn about speech supervision, whether you're just starting out or have been doing it for a while. We worked together to make sure the course is easy to understand and really helpful. We made everything simple so you can start using what you learn right away, no matter if you're new or have lots of experience. You'll find lots of helpful tips and examples in each lesson that show you what to do. This course will make sure you know how to follow the new rules in California and do a great job helping others as a supervisor.

Dr. Givona Sandiford is a leading speech-language pathologist and the founder and CEO of Melospeech Inc., specializing in mobile and virtual speech therapy. With nearly two decades of experience in various clinical settings, Dr. Sandiford is a pioneer in communication disorders and the creator of Melodic Based Communication Therapy (M.B.C.T.)®. She holds certifications as a Certified Autism Specialist and SHRM Certified Professional and has influenced the field through innovative tools and regulatory contributions.
Joining her in this training is Deborah Arroyo, an ASHA-certified, California-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with nearly ten years of experience in education and private practice. She specializes in developmental speech and language delays, genetic syndromes, and neurodevelopmental differences such as autism. Deborah is the owner of Talkativity Pediatric Speech Therapy Inc. and a graduate of the University of Redlands, Azusa Pacific University, and Nova Southeastern University, serving the families of Redlands with dedication.
