We Are Mandated Reporters is an essential annual training designed to empower early intervention home health professionals at Melospeech with the knowledge and skills needed to recognize and report signs of abuse or neglect. This course covers key legal responsibilities, signs of maltreatment, and practical steps to ensure safety and compliance as a mandated reporter. It also reviews our zero-tolerance policy. This training should be completed at least once every 12 months additionally employees may review the employee manual for relevant policies. This course contains information specific to California.
This essential training, designed for SLPs, SLPAs, and CFs, focuses lightly on Tier 1 and more intently on Tier 2 and 3 of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) as mandated by CA AB 1172. The course covers the necessary evidence-based practices and behavioral interventions to address the unique needs of pupils in nonpublic settings. Participants will learn to implement and document positive behavioral supports, manage challenging behaviors, and adhere to compliance standards. For staff working in the school districts, training, conducted by our licensed professionals, must be completed within 30 days of employment and annually thereafter, ensuring skills in pupil restraint and seclusion are up-to-date.
This 10-minute course provides a rapid introduction to the essentials of Early Intervention (EI) and the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). Designed for concerned parents or busy professionals, this concise module covers the core concepts, objectives, and benefits of EI and IFSP, equipping participants with the foundational knowledge needed to support families and young children effectively. Upon completion, participants will earn 0.17 PDH (Professional Development Hours).
